Welcome Ophira!
April 7, 2016 by CFUZ

We are jumping up and down with excitement to introduce our first ever CFUZ employee!

Peach City Radio is pleased to announce that Ophira Horwitz will join the CFUZ team as of Monday April 11th to coordinate and train our volunteers in preparation for broadcasting. Ophira comes from Ottawa by way of Nuxalk Radio in Bella Coola BC, and a community station in Sandy Lake First Nation, Ontario where she has taken on similar roles. She has a wealth of campus/community radio volunteer experience as well, and currently sits on the NCRA - National Campus and Community Radio Association board.

Ophira will work out of the new studio and will be one of the welcoming faces and voices many will associate with CFUZ. Her role as Station Coordinator is made possible through a Community Radio Fund of Canada Radiometres grant. She is a passionate fan of CFUZ and has been a follower and listener for the past 2 years. Welcome Ophira - it's going to be an incredible year!
