This episode is all about your Midlife Mission. Finding your purpose can become a great tool in making your Midlife matter. Today we re examine something called Ikigai. Culturally it’s not an encouraged thing to take a risk or many risks to be vulnerable at this age and stage of our lives. Most of the messages are about slowing down, reducing or eliminating risks and essentially fading away. Wabi Women challenge this and encourage each other to look for the adventure and beauty that is waiting to be discovered in this later chapter of life.

Musical Therapy Episode 143 - The Younger Generation, Part 3 Posted: July 31, 2018 - 59 minutes - 56.5 Mb - playsheet -
I talk about Millennials, Generation X, Post-Millennials (Generation Z), as well as Boomers. But these distinctions are really all marketing tools. And the differences within the categories are greater than the differences between! I play music that tries to illustrate the different generation stereotypes...starting with "What's the Matter with Kids Today" from Bye Bye Birdie---a 1960 musical. After all, each generation wants to judge and disparage the next one, don't they. Fortunately I'm old enough so there really isn't anybody around to disparage my generation. :)
