The dream of community radio moves one step closer to reality on Thursday, as the Peach City Community Radio Society ends its major Raise the Radio campaign.

Since it's launch in September 2014, local individuals, community groups and businesses have come together to support our project, and we are ever so close to attaining our goal of raising $30,000 to equip a broadcast studio in Penticton.

"Thanks to the extremely generous support of our fellow community members, CFUZ now has the funds available to buy the equipment we need to make this happen" commented Dave Del Rizzo, Society President. "Coming together as a group of people united under one voice is what community radio is all about, and it is exemplified in the success of this campaign."

The campaign - including all swag and benefits - will be open until midnight Thursday... so there is still time to visit our donation page and become a part of broadcast history in Penticton.
