CFUZ First Annual ON-AIRversary

On Saturday February 1 2020, CFUZ Peach City Radio will celebrate one full year on the air at 92.9 FM.

To mark the occasion, the volunteers at the station are preparing a full day of live programming that will show off our diverse library of locally created and curated radio programs. During the event, our hosts will be asking listeners to make donations of any amount to keep 92.9 FM humming along on our 50 watt transmitter, and pumping out local greatness through our antenna on top of the Cannery Trade Centre in Penticton.

Now you might be asking yourself, how much should I donate?! Well it depends on how much of this cool stuff you want...

• Come on down to the station with a fist full of change (any little bit helps!) and you will be the proud recipient of a FIST BUMP from one of our awesome volunteers.
• A donation of $9.29 or more gives you a 92.9 FM LOCAL STICKER
• A donation of $25 or more gets you our new stainless steel, wide-mouth CFUZ BOTTLE (plus a sticker, and heck we'll throw in a fist bump too)!

There will be more great giveaways throughout the day so make sure you check the donor gift list below, and listen for your chance to grab this super swag during our broadcast on February 1.

Best of all, your donation will make you feel good about supporting this amazing thing we call community radio in the South Okanagan.

Donations can be made online via our website (CFUZ.ca), in person at the station (Cannery Trade Centre 121-1475 Fairview Road, Penticton) or over the phone (236-422-0929) on February 1st.

Our goal during this funding drive is to raise $4,000 which will go a long way in helping us keep our lights on, pay the rent, help with transmission costs, volunteer training and continual improvement of our station.
